Responses that completely destroy the original argument in a way that leaves little to no room for reply - a targeted, well-placed response to another person, organization, or group of people.

The following things are not grounds for murder:

Rules:

  1. Be civil and remember the human. No name calling or insults. Swearing in general is fine, but not to insult someone else.
  2. Discussion is encouraged but arguments are not. Don’t be aggressive and don’t argue for arguments sake.
  3. No bigotry of any kind.
  4. Censor the person info of anyone not in the public eye.
  5. If you break the rules you’ll get one warning before you’re banned.
  6. Enjoy the community in the light hearted way it’s intended.

Have you lived in a socialist or communist country? I have and my experience doesn't even remotely compare to what you've written.

You can talk all day about "the people owning production", but in the end it's doublespeak for the government controlling everything - including you.

The rich don't give up power easily, but they do steal words and concepts in order to undermine them and keep doing what they've always done. Your society never got rid of the rich and powerful, and you called it socialism anyway. That's your problem.

You missed the point entirely. No one, in recent history, has gotten rid of their rich and powerful.

You're problem is you're a trollbot!!!

Yeah just like capitalism/merchant guilds didn't actually boot out the aristocracy. It shook things up a bit, but they hung on by doing a rebrand.

Let me guess, you're from Mexico and 15 years old, and want to tell me about the horrors of living under socialism.

Actually I'm 52 and an Air Force Veteran. After getting out, I spent 10 years in China. Another year in Inner Mongolia, a year in Cambodia, plus south Vietnam/Laos. And no, I really don't want to tell you squat. You apparently already know everything, having never been anywhere...
