The majority of these distilleries are in red states. They voted for Trump and this is what they get.
Tariffs aren't just Trump's obsession, they're a core part of Project 2025's economic plan, so any R president/congress is going to keep throwing up tariffs.
Of course, tariffs aren't actually helping American workers, because they're effectively a hidden sales tax, while the R's block labor reforms, such as increasing mimumum wage, destroying unions, etc. as they have done for decades.
Agreed. I'm in one and it's hurting distilleries here. Absolutely fuck them!
