Absolutely stupid indisriminate bans by mods on various instances make it clear to me lemmy and fediverse does not want content.
if I ever get back to fediverse It would be on my own instance as its clear to me nothing short of that is going to work.

As noted, this is almost certainly AI rage bait.
But, I don't like the old parquet floor. I wouldn't tear it out, though, because that would be a crime. I just wouldn't buy a house with such a floor in the first place. Or, I would sand and refinish it, then cover it with area rugs, or a floating floor that would leave the old floor intact.
I know better than to ruin an old, hardwood parquet floor just because I don't like it. Plenty of people do and it's an asset for the house and the next owners.
Cover it with rugs in the winter and put them away in the summer.
