Stopping all fediverse activities. Good bye. Absolutely stupid indisriminate bans by mods on various instances make it clear to me lemmy and fediverse does not want content.
if I ever get back to fediverse It would be on my own instance as its clear to me nothing short of that is going to work.

Doesn't look like it. I've seen enough construction horrors to absolutely believe they ripped out that gorgeous old floor and laid lvp planks.

I don't know, find it weird to keep the same old carpet. Which is exactly at the same place and has other same creases and they'd have took the skirting boards out and back without any changes. 🤷🏻

And the camera position and angle are the same, too. Thinking this image is ragebait.

Yeah I don't doubt that there's a lot of people who would actually do something like this but this one's sus

Oh wow, you're right. Well done.

I like to think I'm skeptical, but I missed this very obvious thing.

Everything is in the exact same position in the photo, just a photoshop

More likely they just put the LVP on top of the original floor. It would be a lot of work to pull up the original, and the LVP isnt as thick so the baseboard would neep to be lowered so as not to leave a gap. Looks like they just butted the LVP up next to the baseboard and ran a thin bead of caulking along the crack.

AI, or photoshop.

If you overlay the 2 images over each other... not only are they from the EXACT perspective, the carpet hasn't moved in any way.

While they may have done this, the before and after are the exact same photo.

AI could do better than that original flooring, oof.
