Maybe it’s a nitpick, but it’s annoying having to get on road just to walk pass it.

Yes, why shouldn’t I? It’s a terribly designed parking lot. And its also fun to have a discussion, except when people sling insults at someone else. The discussion can help people learn, or see stuff they didn’t before. This parking lot fails basically every current “good design practice”.

If you’re gonna make your point that “it’s obvious”, well than it better be actually obvious, like with a sign or differing colors and material. Of course people can see how it’s not a spot, but it’s also just as easily seen as one.

I get this is fuckcars, but atleast don’t completely have your head in the sand that the cars and drivers are solely to blame. Sometimes the designers just fucking suck, like in OPs picture.
