How do I fix seg fault in kid3? (piefed.world)

After an update something must have broke. I depend on kid3 (KDE's audio tag editor) and it stopped working. I ran it from Konsole I am greeted by this:

It complains about missing something VDPAU related which I wouldn't think would be relevant. I would be grateful for any help. This is driving me insane.

Yeah that caught my attention too. Not sure if OP speaks it or if it's just part of a potential bug.

OP is trying to learn it. My system locale is Esperanto. Not a bug, lol.

Nur unuj estas en Esperanto. Lots still hasn't been translated to Esperanto. I still see a lot of English text in my system. Mi ne parolas Esperantan tre bona, mi bedaŭras. Feel free to correct my mistakes lol.
