How do I fix seg fault in kid3? (piefed.world)

After an update something must have broke. I depend on kid3 (KDE's audio tag editor) and it stopped working. I ran it from Konsole I am greeted by this:

It complains about missing something VDPAU related which I wouldn't think would be relevant. I would be grateful for any help. This is driving me insane.

I'm using an AMD card.

Then it probably is a bug. I'd submit a report

The problem is, I couldn't reproduce the issue on another system. To be fair, that one uses Intel graphics where this uses an AMD card if that's what the issue is. Is it still worth doing?

Of course, you don't have a NVIDIA card and still it's asking for it. For much they will mark it as invalid but will point you to find the cause of the problem.

You can just revert to the previous version while you find out what it was.

I use CachyOS, So I can't really revert. I could use the flatpak but it won't use the Oxygen theme and looks really out of place.

After removing libvdpau kid3 works again but now mpv doesn't work because libvdpau is a dependency.
