A place to share screenshots of Microblog posts, whether from Mastodon, tumblr, ~~Twitter~~ X, KBin, Threads or elsewhere.
Created as an evolution of White People Twitter and other tweet-capture subreddits.

He's a master of surveillance and AI for everyone.
He's a homophobe who sees "gay" as a synonym for "bad" and is making fun of how awful and bad these companies are by calling them a gay man.
He's fighter of the gay men.
Maybe he doesn't personally see "gay" as meaning "bad," but he knows that the mainstream of society including most billionaire oligarchs see it that way, and so is doing it because he knows it would get under their skin.
Which, you know, I see gay people doing all the time. So it can't really be that offensive...
Edit: I don't know anything about him personally so you could be right but I generally don't jump to those kind of conclusions from seeing offhand comments
You're saying you know nothing about him and making up a fantasy scenario in which you would feel his image is alright instead of just... looking at his profile. Search for the word "gay" and see how he uses it.
It's not a fantasy scenario, it's just how I interpreted it when I saw it initially.
And I'm not going on xitter just to stalk some profile of a random dude whose post I happened to see a screenshot of on the fediverse just to verify the accuracy of my initial interpretation. Ain't nobody got time for that.

Right, but when you see someone using the logos of companies mostly known for being evil at the moment to spell out "gayman" wouldn't you wonder if this person is doing this because he thinks gay men are as evil as we think those companies are?
Excepting y-combinator, which he seems to have thrown in just to manage to spell "gay."

Y Combinator is a huge driver behind the AI push, not sure why you think it's not part of the evil empire if the rest of them are? Matter of fact, OpenAI grew out Y combinator while Altman was president.
As for the other thing, I could see how it's a joke aiming at those rich people and NOT gay people. Some 15-20 years ago, gay was used pretty much how "cringe" is now, without sexuality even being important. I reckon a ton of people have called someone gay online without actually hating gay people.

The person who made this calls people and things gay all the time. Now, not 15-20 years ago. I'm nearly 50, so I have a lot of experience seeing gay used as a bad thing.
Which... what you're saying was an example of. Using gay to mean bad, shitty, awful, cringe was homophobic and insulting. That's the reason we don't do that any more. Except this guy does. Often. Because he's homophobic, and so he made this homophobic meme.

Anyways!
The first example from your screenshot is in response to another guy saying "I love you" to him and calling that gay is just accurate and is in no way homophobic. They could be dating for all we know - fuck knows it's common for gay men to call gay things their partner does "gay" ironically.
The second one is him explaining that someone else called something he said gay (I'm not sure what, the account has been deleted I think?), he is not being homophobic by explaining that.
The third instance is calling out a real creep doing the "I identify as a straight woman" alt-right BS as the kind of person who would act gay to get into a girl's sleepover - i.e. he would lie to convince women he is not a threat and get them to be comfortable around him, presumably to take advantage of them. That's not homophobic, that's based.
And there's a fourth instance comes from him saying Alan Turing was made to kill himself because he was gay. Which... yep, and we shouldn't stop reminding people of that.
And those are the only 4 examples I found of him using 'gay' outside of some comments in latinized hindi, where I think that's just a regular word. Maybe Xcancel is just broken, maybe twitter isn't showing all his homophobia to protect my sensibilities, but going from what he's said... IDK, this guy seems actually just fine?
