you can pickle potatoes? since potatoes last long on the shelf do pickled potatoes last longer than other pickled things?
You can do “quick pickles” with small potatoes, meaning you gently cook them first and then add them to brine for 24 hours and store them in the fridge for about a week.
They’re too starchy to do them raw in the traditional pickling method.
ah. so its just a flavor thing?
You can pickle any organic matter.
don't tell my wife as im sure she would.
Whether it’s palatable or even edible after is an entire other matter.
