Ah sorry I misunderstood your meaning before. Definitely a huge number of 287(g) agreements in Texas, and both Florida and Georgia went so far as to pass legislation forcing all county, municipal, and state agencies to sign the agreement. The rest appear to skew toward sheriff departments in select counties of purple and red states, which I guess is predictable.
Still, it is a small fraction of PDs in the US (~9%) even with those 3 big red states officially “all in,” since there are ~17,600 local and state law enforcement agencies in the US.
