The guy was being investigated for corruption so dropped his seat and triggered this circus. And they voted for him again.

Same as trump. He mismanaged the pandemic to the tune of about 800.000 excess deaths, plus all the other crimes, and he won even bigger the second time. Despite what echo chambers on lemmy tell us, people out the really support these clowns.

Yes, they like the ideas. Those ideas feel right to them. And consequences of those ideas, because most don't work in practice, get blamed on the implementation, ideally blamed on some scape goat. Then they'll vote for the next one promising those ideas.
