If you haven't tried them in a while, the plant based meats on the market are now astonishingly good. My family genuinely can't tell the difference between impossible meat and the real thing, and personally I prefer the taste of impossible meat to animal meat, coming from a previously life-long meat eater.
Highly recommend giving it a try, I think you'll be pleasantly surprised, and it makes giving up red meat especially easy.
There's also really good imitation steak made of mushroom, I adore the Meati brand ones.
