I recently noticed these fig suckers growing out of a stump at my new place in the PNW. Would I be ok to let them grow as is (It's a good location with full sun) or try to turn them into cuttings and plant them elsewhere?

Well potting is a great start. Northern Ontario is a rough winter so bringing them indoors is a great plan.
I grew up in New England so I get the cold. How have they been fairing? How many seasons? Do fig trees go dormant at a certain temp/light/etc?
Jeez, now I need to research, which I love doing. I need to know everything about fig trees, one I love their fruit and two they are really good for you (fiber).
How big are they?
@TIEPilot My fig trees are about 2 feet high and 3 years old. When it gets cold, I move them to the garage until just before the garage freezes and then to the basement until buds form..then upstairs. Should I be fertilizing? with what and when?
That system is working I wouldn't change it up. But they are going to get really heavy as they grow (you know this)
For fertilizer and if you got the space and deal with the smell I like chicken/turkey its cheap here in the Turkey Capital of the world. But you have to temper/compost it or it will do damage. And for you I think this is overkill.
Out of the box easy mode and when I lived in small places was Miracle Grow all purpose organic plant food. The non liquid kind, and I use it sparingly. May be a table spoon a year (7-8 grams in Canadian or in cokehead)
For my plants it works, I will have to scale up as they get bigger. I have a greenhouse size front window south facing. This worked from tomatoes to peppers and all my other plants.
Also make sure they aren't root bound, they grow quick and need bigger pots. I got a Aloe thats begging for a new home. Over/under watering is a concern but it sounds like you got that figured out too :)
I'm not perfect, I could never get strawberries to take... So keep it simple and you'll be fine.
@TIEPilot Thanks! And no worries, I can't get strawberries to do well either. Wild strawberries are everywhere but the domestic ones hate me.
Same here, wild ones are plentiful, I try to grow them w/ the best conditions and nada. They are the rebels of the plant world!
I have heard other theories on strawberries that temp/humidity/time of year is a big factor.
I do know when I get my dream greenhouse up I'm trying again hardcore!
@TIEPilot I want to try and put a south-side Lexion wall in our garage. Use a 4 foot square as a green house. If I surrounded with plastic inside, I could add some heat for winter without much cost. I'm trying to get pomegranates. Stuff getting too big to bring in each winter.
