I once got an email with the subject line that was just an old password of mine. Which admittedly was alarming, and then the content was demanding bitcoins from me or they'd send pictures from my webcam (that I didn't have) to all my friends and relatives. I was like well I don't believe you have those but if I'm somehow wrong I look good naked so enjoy everyone.
Got one of those as well. I knew that pw was in multiple data breaches though. The concept preys on the fact that many people don't know how passwords are usually acquired and think it means someone has access to their pc.
Yeah I found that out when I did more research as well. I'm more care with using different passwords for things these days.
