Rule 2: Do not copy the entire article into your post. The key points in 1-2 paragraphs is allowed (even encouraged!), but large segments of articles posted in the body will result in the post being removed. If you have to stop and think "Is this fair use?", it probably isn't. Archive links, especially the ones created on link submission, are absolutely allowed but those that avoid paywalls are not.

Rule 5: Keep it civil. It's OK to say the subject of an article is behaving like a (pejorative, pejorative). It's NOT OK to say another USER is (pejorative). Strong language is fine, just not directed at other members. Engage in good-faith and with respect! This includes accusing another user of being a bot or paid actor. Trolling is uncivil and is grounds for removal and/or a community ban.
Similarly, if you see posts along these lines, do not engage. Report them, block them, and live a happier life than they do. We see too many slapfights that boil down to "Mom! He's bugging me!" and "I'm not touching you!" Going forward, slapfights will result in removed comments and temp bans to cool off.

Rule 7: We didn't USED to need a rule about how many posts one could make in a day, then someone posted NINETEEN articles in a single day. Not comments, FULL ARTICLES. If you're posting more than say, 10 or so, consider going outside and touching grass. We reserve the right to limit over-posting so a single user does not dominate the front page.
We ask that the users report any comment or post that violate the rules, to use critical thinking when reading, posting or commenting. Users that post off-topic spam, advocate violence, have multiple comments or posts removed, weaponize reports or violate the code of conduct will be banned.
All posts and comments will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. This means that some content that violates the rules may be allowed, while other content that does not violate the rules may be removed. The moderators retain the right to remove any content and ban users.

You're kinda being a dick to someone who has been vocally anti-trump since he first dated a trump supporter in 2012. That's not a typo. Since Obama's reelection I've hated the guy and voted against him in every election. Don't blame me for him winning again.
There's a lot of blame to be pointed directly at Biden and Kamala's 2024 campaign for not reading the room and offering milquetoast promises.
If you don't want to come back here fine, you'd personally give Republican's ammo for their sudden hatred of Canadians and I would rather mend our two country's relationship.

I don’t think so, all the minions may be a little bit smarter than Il Douche but they all rely on his charisma and tv/movie fame. It is unlikely to be a competent government, my guess is all the leftovers will start fighting each other over the presidential powers
I think that was the case in 2017-2021, which was evident from the absolute shambles that administration spent most of its time in. There are some smart, evil people pulling the strings this time, which is evident from the ruthless efficiency with which they're working down their checklist of destruction and building their legion of terror, despite the actual President's rapid decline into dementia. Somebody is managing him, and they know exactly what they're using him for. I wouldn't count on the regime falling apart. I fear that they're smart enough to recruit a new, charismatic face when the time comes.
Dont need a charismatic face when you declare any election you lose invalid and eventually stack the courts so much you can win any case.
America is and has been for a while a third world country with a Gucci belt
We need a new modality besides first/second/third world country. Developed/undeveloped doesn't even really work since most all countries (except the US who are backsliding) have made it through the demographic transition. Countries with stable social nets?

So far the Trump administration has shown how inept they are from top to bottom, just feather his balls and hell roll over like a suckling pig.
Or they get under control of a power hungry nation like say Russia, imagine them with the power of the US military behind them?

Let us citizens be in control. Not all communist per say but way more citizens than fat cats in government to appease. Hense why the government should be for the people not their own grifting schemes.
