Couldn't they just flip the image? I don't want to study his face to rule that out though. Someone else want to?
I think it may just be the face, if anything is flipped. The buttons are mounted on the right hand side of the shirt, coming through the left hand side. That's traditional for a men's button up shirt. The breast pocket is on the left. I've never seen a solo right breast pocket. It's either left or both.
I'm not saying that the face isn't flipped, I mean think of all the marvelous ways we're using AI nowadays. But I think it more plausible, that old turtle face got propped up too much.
In this new image his wife's watch and wedding ring are visible. Flipping the image would put those on her right hand, which would be obvious.
