If you want to educate yourself, pretty much the entire plot of Casino Royale is a poker game. Other films include Maverick, The Cincinnati Kid, and my favorite A Big Hand For The Little Lady.

Good shout for Cincinnati Kid, the theme song is ... out of date, but it sucks any idea of romance of being a pro gambler right out.
(Ditto Rounders).
I hated the Casino Royale movie because they were like "oh Bond is really good at poker that's why he won", where in the books it's made very clear that Bond is a cheater himself. He brought a waxed, stacked deck to the game with Drax, he got invited to the game because they needed a more skilled card cheat to pinch Drax.
Also, one of the gamblers in the casino scene is named Mister Fukuda, and he wasn't smoking. Look, I've spent more time in card rooms than was sensible, and if you're at the table with a Fukuda-san, that man is a chimney.
Could not maintain suspension of disbelief.
Rounders was great until Teddy kgb (Malkovich) missed Matt Damon's character's obvious slow play of the winning hand in the climax.
He brought two stacked decks. One red and one blue because he didn't know which color they would play with. Then got fucked up on benzadrine and champagne because why the fuck not.
Oh yeah right!
