Funny enough, if the rumors are true, there is work being done to make a Halo MMOFPS live service game with customizable characters.

I'll believe it when I see it, but here's hoping.

Edit: Actually, it looks like just this month Microsoft killed it with the restructuring and layoffs they just had. FML.

On par for 2026.

Ugh. A "Halo Planetside" would have been a money printing machine for MS, even if it was just mediocre. Maybe it was in dev hell though; we'll probably never know.
