This is from an art project in Vienna called Delete!, where they covered everything, which could be seen as ads in the Neubaugasse.

A supermarket near me has a video sign with a motion detector that says "Hey! [something something]" whenever someone walks by. Tempts me to sabotage it every time.

A sticker on the camera/motion sensor might work nicely.
