I bought a cheap and small (400-500€?) color laser printer for my company like 7 years ago
I'm still on the first cartridges and we even printed photos for some time on photo paper
Worked really well and looked much better, than I'd have thought
So maybe this is an alternative for some, just to try it out
Oh, if you've got a good printer (and ink for it!!!) then, yes, use them (especially if someone else is paying for it) - but I've pretty much given up on home colour printing these days - the ink is too expensive, and and runs out too fast. And the online equivalents are I suspect cheaper than home printing if you add all the costs in, and often better quality.
As said, laser printer
This thing goes on and on and seems to never get empty
Also it also doesn't dry out like ink cartridges
I'm really happy with it and it wasn't expensive
