My current Samsung phone (S23) is struggling real bad. I need to change it. I've been focused on privacy lately and learnt about GrapheneOS. This is not really the point of my question. Rather the context.

What is the overall feedback of the Google Pixel 10a? I'm seriously considering it, refurbished. It looks compact enough, has space for a physical sim card...

I hope I'm making the right choice!!

I would say to pick up a 9a. Iirc they have identical specs, the only difference being the 10a will get software updates for one more year (because it came out a year later)

Agree, I've also heard almost no hardware improvements between these two.

You don't even get qi2 on the 10a which was the only feature I was looking forward to. I guess the display is slightly better and it charges faster(?) But it's the same CPU so if you can get the 9a just get that.

I wonder if the 10's display is less prone to burn in. Mine already has some that's noticeable on blank images in less than 6 months. But I also use mine a lot in the car so I'm not the nicest to the display.

10 is (20g?) heavier than 9a

I'd say get the 9a and immediately put lineageOS with MindTheGApps on it
