Hitman, my beloved, you're such a good game but fuuuuuck the online connection thing.
World of Ass? I was playing that a lot the other month, absolutely bananas that it requires an online connection.
There's the Peacock Project though, which lets you host your own server. Ultimately that kind of thing shouldn't be required but it's nice that players have made their own thing. Like what do you mean I need to be online and connected to their services to progress in the campaign and unlock new things in my singleplayer game?
Pro tip: pirated versions usually remove this requirement.
