Hi,

I bought a Lenovo M910q (i5-6500T, 16Gib RAM, Intel Mesa graphics) to play with Proxmox, but I'm dying on the first level!

After installing Proxmox from Ventoy using either the default settings or the ones from someone's guide , I get kernel panics on the first boot. As a test, I've just installed Debian on it from Ventoy with the default settings, and it seems to work fine.

I ran the Processor, Memory, and SSD checks from the Intel BIOS without any flags.

Any guesses what I've done wrong here?

No, but I did verify the hash on the downloaded iso. I'll try without Ventoy.
