To be fair, me alone going vegan is not going to stop the meat from hitting the shelves.
We need global organisation and co-ordination to do this.
I completely disagree. We don't need coordination to individually decide to eat less meat and buy more local. You don't need to stop completely to make an impact. And it'll be easier to encourage and convince others when you've already started yourself. We can do that at the same time as fighting for companies to reduce their emissions.
You want global coordination but you don’t want to be part of the change?
