Maybe because the legal system that is supposed to protect us from this bullshit is (ostensibly) the same one that protects them from Luigi.

That only works when the government respects its own laws, which they currently don't so anything goes, sadly.

And no turning the other cheek has never gotten anything anywhere when dealing with the Right.
