I hear you. The hazards of cycling compared to driving a wildly overblown in media coverage terms. I think lime bikes are a bit of a different case though. They are frequently used in very dangerous ways by people with little road cycling experience and have motors that excelerate fast enough to exacerbate that danger. I think it's good that there is a call for more regulation on them.
