Working rotating shifts and seeing and being both in just the space of a few weeks is a new level of misery.
I did shift work for years, and it has done permanent damage
I get up at 0430 for work now, and people ask how I cope with the early start, but it's infinitely better than what I used to do!
Yeah fixed working hours are better, did a year of rotating between just 2 shifts and even that was better than rotating between 3 shits.
My circadian rhythm is a myth. Most people quit within few years due to some health related issues and those who have managed to handle it longer just become alcoholics to mask health issues.
