It's too late to do anything about the extreme heat. But I guess it was worth it

Probably. Although there's actually at least a few climate models out there that suggest that things would just start heating up. Because the high temperatures would melt the ice caps.
Let's just try to enjoy the new Younger Dryas while we can, eh?
