TIL crocheting has sourcecode.

Fiber arts were the original sourcecode.

Weaving machines used punch cards before computers did.

And crochet is one of the better ways we have to model hyperbolic planes.

Don't sleep on fiber arts. It's not all plain scarves and log-cabin quilts.
