It's the 3-rd time I see this exact question @funkyshoe@piefed.social asked. One of my first responses, at
2026-06-14 06:16:37 UTCwas:Yet, their question, and my answer with others' answers, were just deleted by the moderators at !nostupidquestions@lemmy.world at
2026-06-14 07:14:12UTC for "Rule 5" (for unknown reason, fairly). They re-created the question at the AskLemmy, and similar answers now were submitted again.
Now, again. It's sorrowful that time and effort of people is just voided, wasted, and obliterated.
Fuck moderation and psycho rules, it's rule creep and over zealous moderation that destroyed Reddit (among other things)- Mods adding more and more rules to a sub to keep it "pure" until nobody posts shit anymore because nothing fits and nobody can be arsed to read a three page TOS contract just to post a fucking image.
It'll kill this place too.
Moderation should be for spam and conduct breaking. If the users of a sub vote and interact on a post, even if only maybe tangentially related, it clearly fits, and should be left alone.
Forums are meant for discussion, they aren't archives or some kind of abstract sorting exercise.
Thanks for coming to my old man yelling at clouds talk.
Oh idk I moderated Mr armchair psychiatry troll out of here pretty quickly.
Well that kind of post / question is very much welcome here. My ideal for this space is a combination between genuine exploration of nontraditional (or traditionally heretical) spiritual beliefs and gentle ribbing of traditional / canonical and mainstream religions, particularly the Catholics and other militantly trinitarian or puritanical Christian offshoots. But genuinely exploring a geometric hallucination (or "vision" even), is VERY welcome here.
I'm down for some good old fashioned heresy!
Thank you for the share
