The core fanbase is not going to get this done. The whole reason they cancelled it was because they were worried it would bring in a new audience and that only the core audience would watch it.
That's the official excuse, people who actually were involved insist that they worked on that, and it was cancelled simply because of new people in charge cancelling whatever the previous guys greenlit.
