How many school days do the schools where you live have in a year?
So they get 12 weeks holiday a year.
Minus weekends = 200.
Minus a handful of bank holidays = 195. You?

190 in Norway. 2 months summer holidays
It's 180 in the states, give or take.
Spring and fall break are usually a week.
