I mean, 11 million people attended an MLS match last season, USLC had 2 million, NWSL had 2 million, League’s Cup, US Open Cup, USL1, USL2, USLW, MLSNP, NCAA… and that’s just butts in seats. Liga MX averages a half million viewers per game in the US. I dunno how small a dose you’re thinking of, but we’re out here.

It was meant to be a joke about the rise of antivax in America and treating "World Cup fever" as if it were a real disease. The sorts of fan/viewer numbers you describe would not make for a very effective vaccine rollout.
