My initial takeaways:

  • Terrans will have fewer ghosts, they'll be more squishy, do more damage to everything more easily but there will be fewer snipes overall. Fungal is useless against them unless you're currently charging banes at them.
  • I think we can just right click lings/zealots onto scvs once now instead of spam shift-right-clicking to make them follow.
  • Really good QOL changes <3

Surprised it's taken this long for warp gates to be addressed. Catching up on the current RSL and there's just been games that toss won only because they can just ignore defender's advantage. The new changes seem pretty fair but we'll have to see.

Ghosts no longer being interrupted by damage, and doing the full 170 to everything, definitely makes them even more persistent in TvZ. Maybe increasing their supply cost and making them squishier will balance it out? Ghosts seemed fine, tbh.

Nothing that seems like it'll seriously alter how monotonous early game PvZ is. Really would have liked to see something that made Oracles less "free," but maybe the WG changes will make it harder/pricier to bulk up your army so it evens out?

Not sure if the worker change will do much. Better than nothing? Maybe increasing worker build time would be better? If it takes longer to build workers, it makes killing them more impactful. Could cause issues for zerg since they have to kill workers to build.
