I’m not going to say that Putin is right about his politics, weaponized mass humanitarian sabotage, military choices, personal style, or really anything else, but I’ve always liked that he pops the heads off of his oligarchs to drink their fortunes from their still pulsating necks. Wish the IRS had the balls to do the same.

Except not really. If you're loyal to him, everything's fine... but if you go against him, you'll fall out a window. And all the US oligarchs basically do the same thing.

In the US, they execute people for their money?

No, and they don't really do that in Russia either. The goal is to get everyone bowing down to the leader, falling out of windows is just the easiest way for the state to get a loyal crony running the company. The US just likes to do it in other ways.
