Some people choose to live places with less infrastructure and support, and that’s a reasonable choice. But it’s not ok when it affects the education of the next generation. Parents may be the most important voice in raising children, but we as a society have a vested interest in them being well educated, and need our actions to reflect that
yeah its actually kinda funny because my wife and I have no kids and we vote for pretty much every school and park expansion/renovation (our town is pretty responsible and none of these are boondogles). Some folks though. Its like I want to live in a society where kids are educated and we have nice public spaces. I do wish more of this was funded on a national level.
