Fir, for Ballsam Fir.
Is that the wood that cats love to tussle with? Yarn, string, streamers, etc. just can't compare to it for satisfaction of the feline compulsion to ball up some fur. ☝🏼
Maybe they like that, too. The stuff they sell in pet stores is silvervine.
