Calling the rescue worker s pedophile was the mask off moment. Before that, he was trolling other rich people and promoting his Mars mission. He was always crazy, but we thought he was on our side. We wanted one rich guy on our side for once.

The issue is thinking that anyone that rich would ever be on your side.

The mentality that allows someone to get rich like that (besides copious amounts of sheer luck) is incompatible with the needs of the many. If they're "on your side" they have a personal agenda to get out on top over their competition. You are a tool for them to exploit to ensure their infinite growth.
