I'd take 1 million for myself cause of greed. Then I'd put the other 9 million into a fund that generates the usual 4% or whatever and spend my days giving away $300,000 to $400,000 per year to different charities and causes.
You have to factor in the $5 million the government takes, so $4 million (or realistically closer to $3 million) into a growth fund.
