Funny meme is a sad state of affairs where women don’t feel safe in society.
Good news is that despite perceptions and a slight uptick from 2016-~2022 violent crime of all kinds has actually been steadily falling since 1993, so it's not that they're actually not safe, just that they feel not safe because of sensationalist media.
Similar reason for "helicopter parenting" - Parents are so afraid due to global reporting of abductions etc that its skewed the perception of how common it actually is.
