You are correct, but gave me a weird thought.

If you gave me a timeline, and a pin labeled "the end of the world seeing the United States of America as a credible national partner" - and offered me $1,000.00 to put the pin in the most defensible spot on the timeline....

Well, I'm confident I wouldn't leave with that $1,000.00.
