In my house we are ad adverse... We see an ad on paper, TV, computer and immediately assume the company is a piece of shit until proven otherwise.

I got no network TV. Actually there isn't a TV here at all. We watch a Friday movie on our projector. The rest is phone or computer. And its refreshing and hilarious to see my kids reaction to ad's.

It could have been great for them, but advertiser's fucked up the internet with their enshitification.

Sometimes while browsing a bit more mindlessly than I intend to on the fediverse I stop mid swipe and with spontaneous elation think "I have not seen a single damn ad this entire time!".

It will never get old for me.
