Staged? Nah. Allowed to happen? Most definitely.
Famously, after a Whitehouse correspondence dinner, Obama left the stage, and went straight into a secured situation room to see the raid on Bin Laden's compound, which in my mind says "there is a secure and spacious building for the President to reside in and perform the necessary administrative and diplomatic duties of the office." Oh yeah, it's the Whitehouse! Why the fuck was the WHCD bring held at some random-ass hotel ballroom?
I mean they have that woman pretending to be a door dash employee, so they're in the staging business. All I'm saying is I'd be far from surprised if it were staged.
