It's been 1 year since the last clan meeting, where Asuta and Ai Fa got the chance to prove within one year that their actions are the proper way forward for the People of the Forrest. The events in this volume are monumental for the entire region and very emotional on a more personal level for the characters.

I wonder if there is any other series where the main character has no idea that they are in an otome game. Usually, it's the game knowledge guiding the narrative, but here, MC is just ignoring the game's narrative left and right to fulfill her maidly wishes.
