Also, even if someone has smaller than average genitals, there are devices that can fit over them to provide artificial length and girth.
Granted this might not bring much pleasure to the person with the penis. However, if they and their partner want to bring pleasure to the person with the vagina then that could be an option.

i have not considered other genders for this thought experiment (mostly due to personal preference)
but for guys, i think it's pretty tough to emotionally divorce yourself from the idea that your dick is supposed to completely satisfy your lover, even if it's a physical trait that has no relation to who you are as a person
