Whenever I have to get rid of a problematic rooster I make gyoza. The tough meat minced up is the perfect toothiness for it.

All roosters are problematic.

You would think, in the many millennia of breeding chickens, we would have come up with silent roosters.

We let them stay until my wife is tired of getting attacked letting them out in the morning. This usually takes between one and two years.

I miss Trent Rizenor the most.

My mother got attacked as a child and the rooster drove his spike through her foot, apparently. Maybe she's bullshitting me about that, I'm not sure if a rooster could manage to do that, but she sure hates roosters when the subject comes up.

Their spurs can be dangerous. The only way I could see that is if mom stepped on it while getting attacked and losing her balance. But I wouldn't be surprised. A roo can do a lot of damage to a kid. Physical and mental

[–] FauxPseudo@lemmy.world 3 points 2 months ago (1 children)

Breakfast is usually black coffee. I've never managed to get a rooster to lay an egg.

[–] tagoth@lemmy.world 3 points 2 months ago (2 children)

You got them to lay coffee?? Dude your roosters are amazing

[–] FauxPseudo@lemmy.world 3 points 2 months ago
