For those outside the US, this is what we're dealing with:
Coffee shops and bakeries are asking for a 20% tip for ringing up self-service items brought to the checkout counter. Restaurants want a 20% tip to simply run food to the table after people stand in long lines to place their order. Buffets are adding 20% tips to the bill just for providing water.
This was slowly introduced and enough people left tips despite the requests being absurd that it's now done everywhere. Next up: Tip the AI for its hard work.
I hope Ramsey gets his ass handed to him.
