I wish to create a community dedicated to South Asia. Here, there shall be pictures of South Asian culture. Also there would be posts written in various south asian languages. Of course posts in Engli (feddit.online)

Now, my question is, is there a translate button which would translate the posts in various languages into English ??

There's no translate button in PieFed. In Firefox, it displays a translate popup offering to translate the entire page. I don't know what other browsers do. So, for me, such a community would not be difficult to read, at least.

My suggestion is to repost the question in !piefed_help@piefed.social (PieFed Help), which is where the developers can be found.

@Snoopy @Jerry the button that was shown in the video shows up in the desktop version. I do my work on an Android phone.

Three hypothesis :

the piefed instance hasn't installed libretranslate
the mobile version remove the translate button to gain space
user hasn't configured its language
