I recently installed Sim City 2000 on Linux, I think I had to use Lutris just because the install media disk wouldn't autorun.

Steam uses Proton to make games compatible but there are several popular games with linux support by default such as Factorio, Minecraft, ~~Lethal Company, and Stardew Valley.~~ these two titles rely on Proton

Lethal Company seems intersting. Thanks

My bad, that one actually doesn't support linux by default, requires proton. I was mistaken.

I mean, that's not a problem if you're playing it in Steam -- will just transparently work, unless you have an ideological desire to run a Linux-native binary.

But I don't know if the system requirements will work.

Lethal Company's system requirements on Steam says that it requires a NVIDIA GForce GTX 1050.

The GTX 1050 is an order of magnitude more powerful than an Intel HD 2500.

The user specifically asked in the post if they needed steam, so I tried to be transparent about that.
