WASHINGTON — Military planning for a possible Pentagon-led operation in Cuba is quietly ramping up, in case President Donald Trump gives an order to intervene there, USA TODAY has learned.

Two sources familiar with the order spoke to USA TODAY on condition of anonymity because they're not authorized to speak to media.

The directives appear to be an escalation of recent tensions between the U.S. and Cuba that began in January when the Trump administration curbed oil shipments to Cuba as part of a broader campaign to force sweeping political changes on the communist-run island.

You are all too busy making up excuses to sit down and do notjing other than typing bs on the internet. A general strike does not require any weapons, but I have yet to see one in your country. It almost feel like you are all addicted tu suffering and allergic to human and worker rights. Honestly, I used to have a positive view of the US but over the last year I have only seen cowardice and corruption, at this point I just wish that your country collapses soon so It can stop destroying the world, at least for a while. And no, I have no sympathy for people who do nothing while their country is being dismantled before their very eyes, and instead of fighting for it you all just type excuses online Pathetic. Truly pathetic.
